RICHARD HARTLEY

HARTLEY Richard Everett Hartley, Sr., 80, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2012. He was born June 30, 1932 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Everett & Juanita Woodcock Hartley. Richard was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force with 20 years of service as a Master Crew Chief on B52 bombers. He was an avid Gator fan, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Phlou; son, Richard Hartley, Jr. and his wife, Pam; grandchildren, Melissa Elliott and her husband, Joshua, Stacey Hartley; great grandchild, Harlow Elliott and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside Funeral Services with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 10 at 11am in Evergreen Cemetery, 4535 North Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Rev. Jimmy Flanagan officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, November 9 from 6-8pm at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville, 714-1110.
