RICHARD PROSSER

PROSSER Richard (Dick, Richie) Prosser 7/12/41 10/21/13 Born and raised in Palatka, Florida, his contagious love of life and people and his entrepreneurial spirit and wry sense of humor were an inspiration to everybody who passed through his life s journey. He truly enjoyed his career as an urban planner and received many honors for his hard work, including a Fellowship in the American Institute of Certified Planners, a Fellowship in the Society of American Engineers, and was a Paul Harris Fellow in Rotary International. He loved his church and felt honored to serve as an Elder. His greatest enjoyment was being a father and grandfather and taking an active part in their lives. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, son Bryan (Melissa), step-sons Rob and Mike (Pam) Placek, and the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Micah, Karissa, Kaileigh, Kelseigh, Trey, Fin, Peyton and Quin, brother, Chan (Barbara) Prosser, and sister, Lorena Morrison, as well as nephews and nieces and other friends and family he loved. A memorial service will be held at Palms Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville Beach, on Saturday 11/2/13, at 11:00 a.m., with reception following.
