WILLIAM CALVERT

CALVERT Mass in celebration for the life of William Wise Calvert, 59, will be held 11AM Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. Edwards Chapel N.A.S. Jacksonville, FL with Msgr. Simon Peter Ignacio officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30PM Thursday, in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL. William was born on February 13, 1954 in Boonville, Missouri. He went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2013 in Orange Park, FL surrounded by his family. William served his country proudly in the United States Navy during Desert Storm and retired after 20 years of decorated service. William was very active in his church, he served as the Youth Group and Young Adult Minister at St. Edward's Chapel. Mr. Calvert is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Rose Calvert; two daughters, Editha Alerre and Rachel Calvert; a son, Christopher Calvert; brother, Robert Calvert (Rosemary); five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many other loving family members and friends. William will be remembered as a devoted family man that loved the outdoors, mountain biking and an avid golfer. The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 27, 2013 from 5PM-7PM at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd. Orange Park, FL.
