Daddy, First let me say and I am sure you know I was a Momma's girl but I do love and miss you Daddy. David would have made you so proud at your funeral, I know I was very proud of him. I want you to know no child could have asked for a better father and I will never forget the most important thing you ever taught me... I fear NOTHING and NO ONE and never will. I also will carry with me the times in the hospital when you called me Betty and I said "Dad it's Lynne" you smiled and said "I know but you look just like her" and we both cried. My heart breaks for David and Debbie, but I just wanted you to know I love and miss you too Dad. And yes the one that ONLY went to wrestling with your for the peanuts, I still dont like wrestling.
Your fishing Buddy,
Lynne

Hitch, DR, & Daddy Rabbit were just a few names we knew you by, I will always have great memories of you in all that we did especially in the 60's and 70's, On the river you were one of the best and I thank you for the fishing knowledge passed on, Sheephead fish feared you! At the CB rabitt races you did on the sand dunes where Regency Square sits now were just plain fun, as well as the neigborhood barbeques, and fishfrys. We are carring that on. And all of us so called "Southside Gang" being listed in an article for our "Shenanigans" on the front page of the TU was priceless.
To me you were a good guy that enjoyed all aspects of life and lived it to the fullest , I am sure you will carry that "lets do it" way you do to the next life and please wait for all of us.
Thanks Hitch

I grew up in Bishop Circle, the same neighborhood where Byron's parents lived from 1948, on.

I got to know Byron when he was home on leave and even better, after he left the Navy.

I knew his brother Russell very well too. We were good friends. I really liked both of them.

I'm sorry for your loss and I wish the family well.
May God Bless You All.
