JAMES FARROW

FARROW James H. (Jimmy) Farrow of Orange Park, FL, passed away June 3, 2011 at The Terrace at Fleming Island. He was born June 12, 1931 in Wilmington, NC. Graduated from New Hanover High School in 1950 after which he attended N.C. State University, graduating in 1954. He then served two years in the U.S. Army. After serving in the Army he worked for Fluor Corporation until retirement. James H. Farrow was preceded in death by his father, Harris James Farrow; mother, Cleo Sylvia Farrow; stepmother, Dorothy H. Farrow; sister, Joan F. Hastings. He is survived by his sisters, Harriet F. Murray, Jacksonville, FL and Ann F. Jordan, Wilmington, NC and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his great nephew and wife Michael & Brenda Jenkins for all the love, support and care given to him for the last several years of his life. Memorial services to be held at The Terrace at Fleming Island, 1125 Fleming Plantation Boulevard, Fleming Island, Florida 32003 (904-333-0287) on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10:00 am, after which a private burial will be held at the family plot at Oakdale Cemetery located in Wilmington, NC.
