HATCHETT Darrell Richard Hatchett, 67, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011. He was born in Tulsa, Ok and moved to Jacksonville in 1982. He was a U S Navy veteran and retired air traffic controller. His hobbies were golfing collecting watches and guns. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Robbin Hatchett; Mother Emma Lee Wolfe; Brother Rod Hatchett; 3 children; Sean Hatchett; Nick Hatchett; Nicole Hatchett-Wilson; 1 Grandchild Joseph Darrell (JD) Hatchett and countless friends whom he treasured like family. I was very sorry to here of the passing of Darrell. I worked with him as a controller in JAX Tracon. I last saw Darrell last in May at a get together in Fernandina Beach. He looked well and I will remember him from that time. All our prayers are with Robin and family.

... Terribly sorry for your loss.. I knew Darrell briefly when I arrived at Cecil Airport in April this year... he always had a story and was an extremely interesting person. It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to have worked with him.. He will be greatly missed..
