To Betsy and Family,
I share in the feelings of sadness and loss of your wonderful mom, Myra. Mimi was a most amazing woman, one of the warmest, feistiest, funniest and classiest that I have ever had the pleasure to know. Although, a Damn Yankee, she and your dad always made me feel welcome and special in their lives and I can't tell you how much I always truly enjoyed her company and friendship. I'll miss her dearly as you all will, but will always hold dear the memories I have of her, both from my own experiences with her as well as your lifelong stories about her. My deepest condolences to you and the family on her passing.

Betsy - I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. Myra was so very special and always helpful - I called on her many times in the various organizations we belonged to, and she was most generous with her time, talents and ideas. I will miss her so much.

The service was lovely - I know she would have been pleased. Hannah, Hays and Haley did a wonderful job with her eulogies. What a great memory she leaves for everyone who knew her. May you find comfort in knowing how proud she always was of you and your family.

Myra Hays was a special woman. Growing up, I had the incredible pleasure of having Myra as one of my moms. She was strong, a great cook, a wonderful seamstress, hilarious, loyal, but above all, a devoted mother. From Myra came 3 very special people -- Chip, Scotty and Betsy. Betsy - only a Myra could have created something as wonderful as you, and don't ever forget it. Thank you for sharing your mother with me. Remember, time moves on, but love never changes. I love you all very much.
