Dearest family and friends of Jordan. Although I've never met any of you , your story and the senseless taking of Jordan's life has touched me deeply.
I'm an expat living in Switzerland and have followed Jordan's story closely. I can tell you that many Swiss and the American expat community are outraged at what happened to Jordan and are praying that your family will find comfort and justice during what must be a very trying time for you.
As an African American mother who has raised her children overseas and am now looking at sending one of my own children off to college stateside, and who has lost a son of my own ; I understand your pain.
Thank you for your grace under pressure and for allowing all of us to share your grief. I know this cannot be easy for you.
You and your family and friends will remain faithfully in my prayers.

Thanksgiving is here again, it brings back memories of what happened to Jordan. I didn't get to know my 2nd cousin and wish I had. His mother , Lucy is my 1st cousin. She is strong, and loving.
