Kimble was a very good friend of mine and I will miss him dearly. He and I first met when we were stationed at Fort Meade, Maryland working in the JAG office. We had some really fun times. He always kept the place laughing. We could talk about anything, regardless of if it was good or bad. He was truly like a brother to me and I loved him. We lost touch for a long time, but God saw fit to reunite us before he passed away and I thank him for that. Melissa thank you for all the help the two of you gave me when I was a single parent. You’ll were truly a blessing to my son and I and I’ll never forget that. If your family needs anything please don't hesitate to call.

Melissa and Jasmine
I thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful, beautiful friend as you. When I met you we instantly became close. You have always exemplified the qualities of a very strong woman and I have always admired that in you. Not only did I gain your friendship but Lamar's as well. Lamar always had a smile on his face no matter what he was going through. Lamar loved you and Jasmine dearly. Just know that God is smiling now that He has yet another angel. I know that he will be truly missed by all of us. Continue to pray and know that I am here. Melissa, I love you and Jasmine dearly and may God bless you both to endure.

My father Antione aka daddy was a great man to me but also punished me because he loved me.
I will always remember the good times we had together: water parks; amusement parks, Chuckie Cheese & cook-outs. We had lots of laughs together, he was such a joyful/happy, humorous person.

He was a loving father that not only provided for my needs, but also granted so many of my wants.

A man full of wisdom, and loved to lecture. We had long talks about so many things in life (to be totally honest, sometimes I would doze off, after so long), but I know I will remember his words of wisdom throughout my life.

I will miss my daddy, I love him a lots and he will never be forgotten.

Daddy, I will represent forever.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Melissa and Jaz, I don't know where to begin Patches was my heart he was apart of me as if he was my son, the love and respect he showed others is beyond words we will all miss him but i know that u will miss him the most. we have talked and he has told me about the love he has for you and his daughter he held on as long as god would allow. he is at rest now no more pain and no more not being able to be the life of the party for him, he has brought all of us some lifetime memorys and his smile will always be there, when I got the call about him he came to me and told me sexy i'm ok. and that gave me peace, to know that he thought enough of me to tell me he was ok. he knew that he was loved, and you will see that it will get better as time goes on. u want ever forget him because he was one to leave alasting memory on everyone he has ever met. we love you and pray that god keeps his arms wrapped tightly around you both,i gave him his nickname when he was ababy(patches) and he called me sexy that very special to me. love aunt dot and family

Melissa,
I'm truly sorry for your loss but at the same time I'm grateful that I was afforded the oppritunity to have met you, Patches and Jasmine. Patches may be gone but I will never forget his smile, his kindnes and his uncanning sense of humor which he maintained through the end. (that I sure of) I have watched you guys from near and far and have always admired the PATIENCE, the STRENGTH, the COURAGE and most of all the LOVE you have shown during these trying times. May GOD continue to provide you with these great assets to see you and Jasmine through and just know that although I may not have always been in the spotlight, I've always had my light on for you guys. Stay Prayful....

Melissa I just want to start by telling you how glad I am that you and Patches were apart of my life - Life passes us by so quickly - I can still remeber the first time you and I met - It was as if we had known each other for our entire lives. You are such a strong, smart and beautiful woman - I know most comments will be about how great a person Sexy was but that goes with say, Sexy will be greatly missed but the memories we have will last forever, who could forget his smile , his genuine concern for those he loved - Melissa your husband has such a special place in my heart that can never be replaced - I know this is hard for you right now but just remember how much he loved you and Jasmine and the late nite conversations I know you and he had - and most of all remember his strength.
