It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Mains-Randolph announces her passing on Friday, September 7th 2018, at the age of 80 years. Daughter of Frank and Nadine Mains. She was proceeded by her two sons Matt and Troy, and Daughter-in-law Saundra. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 48 years, Arvil Randolph, sons Mark and Matthew, Daughter Tonya, Sister Donna and Ginny, Brother Joe, and her Grandchildren Emily, Tierrah, Rocky, Wendi, Hayden, Darius, Megan, Kayla, Kallie, Ivy, and Kyndal. She will be remembered also by her numerous extended family and friends, and all the lives she has touched.
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and Named Miss Duval County in 1955. She was as beautiful inside as she was outside. At 50 years old, she trained and pursued a career in nursing, which showed her compassion helping others. She was a dedicated nurse for Dr. Greg McConnell for 16 years. Betty was a pure soul planted in love and kindness. A woman who though some had met just briefly, they felt they had known a lifetime. She made a huge impact on many and will never be forgotten.
A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, September 22nd from 2-5 pm, at her Home of 34 years at, 5318 Montclair Place, Sarasota,FL 34231.
