God took one of his soulders to march in his army he took Dezelious. D I can't believe that your gone but your spirit is here with us. You used to tease in me in school all the time and you were always funny. You always kept a glow on your face. I never thought that I would have to be writing this about you but I have to see God sits high and he looks low but you are in God's hands know so we don't have to worry everything is gonna be alright down here. I'm gonna miss the times we had together in class and I gonna miss that neat apperence you always had. I MISS YOU D.

Pam, LA and family,
I was truly saddened and broke by the news of Dee passing. He was always smiling and very happy no matter when you saw him. I came to Jacksonville 18 years ago as a stranger but LA and the entire clan made me feel like family. My condolences go out to you all and know that God does not make mistakes. He has a good steward named Dee standing by his side watching over the rest of us. May God bless and keep you strong.

To Dee's Entire Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. Lord, please bring this family comfort in knowing they had a very special person in Dee. I had the pleasure of working with Dee. He was such a kind and giving person. You see he was my go to guy. Everytime I messed up an account, he would be right there to help no matter how busy he was. I remember sitting there talking to him about football and especially that sweet little baby that he so adored.
Dee...you will be truly missed by so many people. Heaven has a very special Angel now. And we are blessed to have the special memories we all have.

My step dad Raymond Coleman really took it hard when he found out that his first cousin was no longer here. Deepest Sympathy to the family of Dee Spaulding
A life so young, will be missed by many, but never forgotten.
What I remember best about Dee:
He exemplified the personification of true fatherhood, always conversing about the love and devotion he has for his baby boy (Drew).
We were once co-workers at Optimal, and he was one of the team leaders, with expertise in the job that he did. In the posting department they had a term often used when posters were not able to balance batch accounts called “OB”. It simply meant that the account balance was “Out of Balance”.
I can remember a time, being new to the posting department, when I was not able to balance a particular batch. With my desk, being directly in front of Dee, I turned to him, and he just burst out with a laugh and said, “You got the OB?” At that moment it seemed so hilarious that we both burst out laughing. Working in the same department with him was a delight. He and Mo (Monique Reed) were full of humor, and they would keep you laughing. In my mind, he will be remembered for that (Smart and full of humor)
“Yes Dee, I had the OB, and I thank you for all your help – Error found”

My condolescenses to everyone who has lost the presence of Dezelious “Dee” Spaulding. I didn’t know Dee as well as some of the others, but Dee always treated me like one of the fellas! It is funny how Dee never corrected me for calling him “Dazarius” he just always laughed when I would call him that. I hadn’t seen him for a long time and was even tempted to see him this past Saturday night before the tragic accident and now I’m sorry that I didn’t get that chance. We shall meet again! Gosh, reading all these entries, I wish that I would have had the pleasure of having more encounters with my cousin. His mom and my dad are very close 1st cousins. I would see him in passing at family get togethers, I think maybe the last time I saw him at my grandfather's funeral a few years back. Because we have such a large family (his mom is one of ten), I don't think he would have known me by name, but I knew his face because my granny had a picture of him and his mom and sister in her living room...the spitting image of his mom. My heart deeply hurts for you cousin Pam, your two girls, your husband and extended family. I know that you love your children. I can't even imagine...I watched my mom go through the loss of my sister...and I just could imagine that losing a child feels like losing a part of you, like you can't breathe. But be encouraged that God will give you the ability to "breathe again" and realize that there is a reason that He took your beautiful son at this time, under these circumstances, and we may not understand it, but God knows what's best. Much love to all of my family, I wish I could be there to help comfort, but I know that those grieving back home are in good hands.

Dee had to have been the best co-worker I've worked with. Always willing to help others not only with work but whatever problem you may have. I had the pleasure of listening to his laugh which always made you smile. We were football buddies and I'll remember him every season. To all of his family you have my heart felt condolences.

To The Spaulding family god gave us Dee for a short time but he was a remarkable person loved everyone I worked with him at Gottlieb's and I called him lil baby because of his baby face and I would see Dee out and about and with the biggest smile he would give me a hug and show love he will truly be missed. Just want you to know that you will be truly missed, but not forgotten. You were a good co-worker as well as a good friend. I just remember when we were in the posting dept and you use to yell at me for not doing something and then we would laugh about it. I know the years that I knew you I can look back and smile.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Dee at Gottlieb for many years , we became very good friends. Dee definitely was someone who you could rely on as well as a wonderful confidant. We had so many memorable thoughts that goes way beyond just being a co-worker, you were truly like my little brother who enjoyed life to the fullest. As I am sitting here typing in this guest book,it brings back soooooo many memories when I lost my brother due to a tragedy as well. I would like to say to the family that weeping endures for a night but joy comes in the morning just keep your faith in God and will see you through all of this. Just know that Dee has really touched alot of people's life in such a positive way , and for that he will definitely be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.....

My deepest sympathy goes out to not only the family, but to all of those who knew Dee. He was one of those people that if you knew him he truly touched your life. On behalf of those that worked with him, he was seen as everyone's "big" brother or a son to those that were older, and we will really miss our "Baby Dee".

I had the pleasure to work with Dee for 6 years. He was not only my co-worker, but he also was a true friend to me. We could always talk to each other about anything & I will always love him for that.
