Obituary Condolences

BURCH Earl Nathaniel Burch, Sunkey 84, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2013. Earl was born January 14, 1929 in Dalton, Georgia. He graduated from Dalton High School in 1949. Earl went to college at Middle Tennessee State and received a Bachelor's Degree in education. He attended college at Peabody where he received two Master degrees in Education. Earl enlisted in the US Army October 25, 1950 and received the Korean Service Medal with one bronze star, United Nations Service Medal and the Army Occupation Medal (Japan). Mr. Burch was a physical education teacher and football coach for 30 years at various schools in Duval County, Florida. Earl will be re-uniting with his mother and father, his wife Helen, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and his brother-in-law and best friend Robert Kittle. Survivors include 2 sisters, Dimple Casey and Minnie Kittle, and his brother, Henry Burch, 2 nieces, Shana Cisko (Harry), Vickie Lulloff (Tommy), and 2 nephews, David Kittle and Jack Kittle (Camille). Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM at FRASER FUNERAL HOME, 8168 Normandy Boulevard, (904-781-4314) with his nephew Jimmy Burch officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
