BROWN Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Harry Lamar Brown 1938-2013 Harry Lamar Brown, 74, beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully Monday November 18, 2013. He was born December 12, 1938 to Harry & Lillian Brown in Newberry, Florida. He leaves behind a legacy with 2 children Daryl H. Brown (Kim Brown, wife) and Debbie Wood (David Anderson, husband) of Jacksonville and 8 grandchildren: Tommi, Daryl, Jr., Melissa, Chad, Thomas, Tanner, Marina & Hunter. He is most remembered for his love for life, quick wit, humor, practical jokes and positivity. Harry served in the Army & National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1964. He retired from Coastal Construction Products after 23 years and continued on consulting for them until 2012. After retirement he moved out to Dunns Creek in Satsuma, FL and spent the last 9 years enjoying fishing with his grandchildren, coffee with the sunrise, Nascar and Gator football. Harry was also known as Buster by his siblings (Judy Baxter, Cheryl Stanton, Billy Hoyt (deceased) and Dot Gibson (deceased)) and Freakout by his grandchildren for his constant playful humor. He leaves behind a life time of memories and will be deeply missed. Daryl and Kim would like to thank Susan of Community Hospice for her care and service thru the last weeks. Graveside service will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm @ Newberry Cemetery 25440 W. Newberry Rd., Newberry, FL 32669. In lieu of flowers, please bring any stories/memories that you have with Harry to share in celebration of his life.
