Obituary Condolences

DAILEY Jack Dailey, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away peacefully at the age of 93 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Dailey was a native of Monroe County, AL and grew up in rural Chestnut, AL. After graduating from high school in Beatrice, he served his country proudly in the US Navy during WW II as a medical corpsman. Following his service, he spent 31 years in sales in Jacksonville for Eli Witt. He retired and moved back to his home place in Alabama. Later he moved to Lake Asbury where he spent the rest of his life. Jack was a member of the Lake Asbury Baptist Church and was a 32nd degree Mason receiving his 50 year pin from the Ezra Lodge #67 F and M of Jacksonville. He loved his Lord Jesus Christ and his wonderful family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and especially Alabama football. Survivors include his wife of 69 years Reba Palmer Dailey, four daughters, Janet (Conley) Lemons, Betty (John) Campbell, Linda (Stephen) Swenson and Fran (Wes) O'Quinn, five granddaughters, six grandsons, six great granddaughters and fourteen great grandsons, and one cousin Mary Ida Barnes. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 26, 2012, in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Rev. Troy A. Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery with both Masonic Rites and Military Honors. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
