Banks, officiating. She is survived by her children, Reecie (Thomasina), Elaine (Rev. Alton), James, Jr., Carolyn, Doris, Sylvia, Linda (Norman), Richard (Delores). Chartis (Min. Ron), Lawand, Verdy (Jeanne), Melvin (Leslie) and Joyce; 32 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren; siblings, Walter Southerland (Beverly), Frances Sneed (Charles) and Frankie Stephenson; sister-in-law, Margaret Buckholtz of Atlanta, GA; brother-in- law, Ellie Lifpord and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Buckholtz will rest in the mortuary for the visitation of friends on Friday, November 6, 2009 5PM until 8PM.
