Mike FIELD Obituary

FIELD Mike (Jack Michael, II) Field made his peaceful journey home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2011 after a four year battle with Kidney Cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Debbie (Daniels) Field, 2 daughters, Brooke Field and Bridget Field, his mother, Nancy McCaskill Young, his father, Jack Field (Judy), Sister, Robyn Field, brother, David Field, and a host of relatives and friends. He was born in Charleston, SC on November 1, 1961 and moved to Jacksonville at the age of 18. He was President of Field Services Painting and Construction of Florida, Inc. for the last 21 years where he was known for his remarkable workmanship. He was also the heart and soul of Hidden Fields Private Stable where for the last 8 years he spent countless hours hosting birthday parties and summer camps and took great pride in knowing that he was helping thousands of area children become acquainted with horses. He was a wonderful man with an infectious sense of humor and will be sorely missed by many in the community. A memorial service will be held at Riverside Park United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 19th at 2:00 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers a trust has been set up to help the family with expenses at Navy Federal Credit Union, Jack Michael Field, II Memorial Fund. Condolences may be made at www.mem.com. Debbie, I am deeply saddened to learn of Jack's death. I truly do not know what to say... Only that I appreciate our brief time together and both you and Jack's presence enriched the lives of so many people, including my own. He was a wonderful person, and your love for him was always evident. My thoughts are with you, your daughters and your families. Thank you so much for being apart of my life, however briefly. I wish you peace and comfort during this challenging time.
