Dear Tim, Judi and Katie - I was so terribly saddened when Nadine left me this unbelievable news a day after Nikki's accident. There is nothing to compare to this pain. Anyone who has lost a loved one to a sudden accident realizes that words are useless; prayers are appreciated; and your world will never be quite the same. Yes, you go on (although there are many times you aren't sure) and yes, life can be good again - the love you feel for her and that she shared lives on through all she has touched. My deepest, most heartfelt condolences.

My daughter, Nicki Leach was a dear friend of your Nikki. I remember your daughter so well, they went to Rollings together in Heather Nickodem's class. My Nicki passed away April 2005 from cancer. I hope our girls are dancing in heaven today!
