Memories and Condolences
for Peggy Sappenfield

Not sure what to say?

Earl, Marsha, and Marty,

I am so sorry about Aunt Peggy's passing. I know that there are no words to comfort you but Psalm 27: 4-5 says "One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle and set me high upon a rock."

Our lives will flash in the twinkling of an eye and we will be with her once again in Heaven.

I look forward to seeing you all in the near future. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Katherine (JC and Martha's granddaughter)

Earl, Marsha, Lee, Marty:
We are so sorry to hear of Peggy passing away. We all had a lot of fun together while we were in racing. Peggy would always come in the scoring stand with a big smile on her face. She would light up a room anywhere and I am sure she will light up heaven a little bit brighter. She was always a joy to be around as were you and the family. We think about you every time we open our door in the kitchen with the little bear you brought us back from Australia. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Marsha. You have lost a wonderful lady, mother, grandmother and a friend but we will all see her again some day. We love you all.

Earl and Marsha...I don't know what to say here. I doubt that anything that I say will help...only time can take care of that. I will say that some of my best memories of Aunt Peggy were going out to the K and W with her and Earl, Mom and Dad and Angie whenever they would come up to visit. I regret now not coming down to see you all. Its a lesson learned that life is short and we need to tell the folks who are precious to us that we love them...and that was my last words to her...and hers to me...that we loved each other. I promise, Earl, that I will come down to see you and Marsha in the near future. Prayers and thoughts to you.

One of my most favorite memories of childhood is going to Aunt Peggy's and Uncle Earl's house one summer for Family vacation. When I got back home I told all my friends about my favorite Aunt who lived in FLORIDA, I think I talked about it until Christmas that year...She was so loveing and kind all of my Moms sisters are that way.
May God be with you in your time of sorrow Earl and Marsha and rest in the comfort of knowing Moma, Helen,& Aunt Ruby were waiting for her and are with her right now. Love Dawny

Sappenfield family, rejoice in the spirit of Peggy. Proverbs 27:19: "A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses." As a mother, wife, sister, grandmother, daughter, friend, and woman of peace, Peggy will be reflected in all of you as the days continue. Let her beacon of light continue to shine through all who knew her.
