Rosemary Sullivan Obituary

SULLIVAN A Memorial Mass for Rosemary Alice Sullivan, 72, will be held at 10am on Friday, August 8, 2008 in Christ the King Catholic Church with Father Thanh T. Nguyen as celebrant. Ms. Sullivan was born to Michael and Irene Sullivan on November 16, 1935 in Potsdam, New York and she passed away on August 1, 2008 in Jacksonville, Florida. She grew up in Ogdensburg, New York, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at D'Youville College and her Master of Science in Nursing at Boston University. She taught nursing at D'Youville College before relocating to Jacksonville. Under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, she developed and administered a program for advanced registered nurse practitioner (A.R.N.P) at Duval Medical Center (Shands). Ms. Sullivan leaves to mourn her memory, many good friends including, C. Rose Dalton and Marilyn Repsher. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial gift in her name to a charity of your choice. Ms. Sullivan's cremated remains will be interred next to her parents in St. Mary's Cemetery, Potsdam, New York. Arrangements are under the direction of George H. I had the pleasure of being Rosemary and Rose's hair stylist
many years ago. I will remember Rosemary as a kind, smart, interesting, and witty person who loved life, her family, and friends. May God extend His unending love, comfort, and grace to you all.
