STRICKLAND-THOMAS On June 28, 2012, God chose another beautiful flower from his garden, Shanell Strickland Thomas. Shanell was a loving and very caring person to all that knew her, she will always be remembered for her beautiful, radiant smile. Shanell s memory will be cherished by her husband, Brian Thomas; two adorable and loving children, son, Cornell Wright; daughter, Ryan Thomas; she was the daughter of James and Sabrina Barnhardt., Cornelius Strickland Sr. (father); brothers, Carlos Strickland, DeQuan Jay and Kenon Ruffin; sisters, Taneal Strickland, Jamila and Shawnta Barnhardt; grandparents, Henrietta Randolph, Lula Strickland and Georgia Barnhardt and a host of many extended family members and friends share this loss, a brother, Cornelius Strickland Jr. preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church, 10325 Interstate Center Dr., Rev. Eugene Diamond, Pastor, Officiate.
