Beverly Callahan Obituary
CALLAHAN Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Beverly Callahan, 91, passed away February 17th, 2014. She was born July 24th, 1922 in Sherburn, Minnesota and married Frank Callahan on February 12th, 1944. She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in March 2001 after having spent 45 years in Coral Gables, Florida. Beverly, always the graceful and gentle woman, touched so many lives and will be cherished by all who knew her. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was a long time member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Coconut Grove, Florida. She was also a member of the Junior League of Miami and of Chapter AK, PEO Sisterhood. She leaves us with a legacy of love and compassion. Beverly is survived by a son, Gary Callahan of Blairsville, GA; daughter, Donna (J.W. Thomas) Byrd; two granddaughters, Allison (Scott) Freeman and Ellen Byrd; two great-grandchildren, Thomas Hamilton Freeman and Eloise Sheppard Freeman, all of Nashville, TN; and sister, Donna Overholt of Jacksonville, Florida. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank John Callahan.
