Charles Walter Miller Obituary
MILLER Charles Walter Miller, 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 16, 2014. Charles was born in Astoria, New York to the late Jacob and Marie Miller on August 6, 1931. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Charles was a member of The Knights of Columbus, The American Legion, and the VFW. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and was a member of the Queens and Kings at the church. Charles moved to Jacksonville in 1974 with his family. He owned several gas stations throughout the years. He played softball with the Knights of Columbus and was an avid bowler. Charles was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara and his brother John Miller. He is survived by his wife Helga Stutz Miller; daughters Vicki Miller, Karen Miller (Mark), Laura Miller. Charles is also survived by a stepson Bob Stutz; one step-grandson Geoffrey Stutz; sister Marilyn Ibe (Bob) and sister in law Pat Bunso. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a funeral service at Christ the King Catholic Church, 720 N Arlington Rd, on Friday, March 21 at 10:00am.
