Keith Charles Shaw Obituary
SHAW Keith Charles Shaw, age 57, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014. Keith was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville. Keith was born on December 1, 1956 and graduated from Ed White High School in 1974 and went on to become part owner and spent his entire life devoted to Shaw Hardware and Lumber. He made it his life's mission to be a successful businessman. In addition to being a successful businessman, he was a devoted golfer, a man who loved his convertible on a sunny day and an aspiring rock star that settled for being his daddy's back up drummer. In his younger years he also was an avid surfer. He was a steak master extraordinaire and king of fried shrimp and never one to not share his Alaskan King Crab Legs. Keith is survived by his wife of 14 years, Susan Harden Shaw, whom he married on June 10, 2000, his parents, Patricia and Buddy Shaw, a brother, Cliff Shaw (Kathleen), a daughter, Kelly Varn, his mother and father in-law, Florie and Louis Harden, a brother and sister-in laws, Craig and Susan Harden, Louie and Sydonna Harden, and his loving companion, Pebbles the family Shih Tzu, niece and nephews, Lane, Joe, Steven, Mabry, Kristen, Daniel, and also Uncle Andy Shaw, Aunt Vonnie Shaw Nichols and Uncle Harry Hickson. Keith was a compassionate family man that gave his heart and soul to all who knew him. He was an amazing, loving husband, father, friend, brother and son. He will forever be missed by all that knew and loved him. Memorial services will be held, Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00pm in the chapel of FRASER FUNERAL HOME, 8168 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL (904-781-4314).
