RAKESTRAW Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Timothy Lewis Rakestraw, Happy passed away May 4, 2014 at the age of 33. He was born in Gadsden, AL on September 27, 1980. He grew up in Jacksonville, FL and then moved to Columbus, GA. He was a loving, caring, compassionate, kind hearted man, who loved spending time with his children, family and friends, they were his world. He always enjoyed life, he loved to ride motorcycles, working on vehicles, and applying tattoos. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving family, 3 children, Keegan, Jesse and Ina; parents, Beverly and Gary Rice of Keystone Heights, FL; sister, Keshia (Richard) Yow, of Jacksonville Beach, FL; nephews and nieces, Jeremy, Mackenzie, Miranda and Reed; long time best friend, Corey Ramirez; Aunts, Liza Catron, Ina Peterson and Uncle R.L. (Freida) Adams; cousins, Anthony Rogers, Shanna Lumpkin, Shae Meeks, Kiara Spellane, Rebekah Lumpkin, Joshua Adams and Catherine Adams; brothers in the Iron Cross Motorcycle Club and Crossmen Support Club; half brothers, Michael Nelson and Shawn Rakestraw; along with many more family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, R.L. and Ina Adams, Irene Rice, and half brother, Jeremy Rice. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 16th in Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home. Family and friends will gather at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home to process to the cemetery where the Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 17th in Beaches Memorial Park.
