WALL Please Sign the Guestbook @ Rosemary Dowling Wall, 91, widow of George Kane Wall, died Friday June 6, 2014. Rosemary was born on March 4, 1923 in Jacksonville, Florida the youngest daughter of Clement Edward Dowling Sr. and Martha Lowenstein Dowling. She graduated from St Josephs Academy. She and George were married on October 8, 1942 and were married for 40 years until his death in 1982. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, George K Wall, Sr, her son, George K. Wall, Jr., her brother Clement Edward Dowling Jr. and her sister Martha Catherine Foster. She is survived by her sons William D. Wall (Carol), Edward M. Wall (Jennifer), daughters Jane W. Williams (Walt), Gloria W. Roberts (Adair) and Martha W. Falkenstein (Elry); thirteen grandchildren (her pesha s), 11 great grandchildren, wonderful nieces and nephews and very special lifelong friends who will remember her as Mother, Granny, G-ro. Aunt Roses, Roses, Rosey and Rosemary. She was a dedicated wife and mother who instilled in her children the meaning of faith, love, charity and the importance of family. She is admired for her profound love of God, personal strength and her inspirational advice Just pray, O Scared Heart of Jesus I place my trust in thee . Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday June 9, 2014 in the chapel of Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home. The Rosary will begin at 5:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Christ the King Catholic Church with Reverend Thanh Nguyen as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fl 32257 or St. Catherine Laboure Manor, 1750 Stockton Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32204.
