Norman R. PATTIE Obituary
PATTIE Norman R. Pattie, 76, of Orange Park, passed away suddenly on June 10, 2014. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, retired from the U.S. Navy in 1974 and later retired from NADEP in 2004. Mr. Pattie was a member of The Fleet Reserve (Branch 126) and was a faithful member of West Jacksonville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia Pattie; 3 daughters, Linda Grissom (Wayne), Marlene Thurman (Jon) & Tracy Eiland (Eric); 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Jonathan, Garrett, Benjamin, Andrew, Sam & Sarah; 3 brothers, Richard, Paul & Robert Pattie. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 13, 2014 at West Jacksonville Baptist Church, 5634 Normandy Blvd. with Pastor Rodney Kelley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The WJBC Bus Ministry, 5634 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
