Scott Michael Doemel Obituary
DOEMEL Scott Michael Doemel, 26, of Jacksonville, passed away at his home, Friday, June 13, 2014. Scott was born in Cape Girardeau, MO. He is the son of Todd and Debbie Lottes Doemel, and brother of Sarah (Christian) Oldenburg. Scott graduated from Bartram Trail High School in 2006, and in 2008 from St John's River Community College with a Certification in Criminal Justice. On July 31, 2012 he was issued a Certificate of Compliance for Law Enforcement officers. Scott was a Judicial Officer with Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. More than anything, Scott loved his family, friends, cars, boats and life. He was the most dedicated friend a person could have and the most loving family member. Scott planned to be a police officer his entire life and loved his fellow officers. Scott was an avid sports fan and loved the Green Bay Packers and St Louis Cardinals. In addition to his loving family, survivors include two nieces who adored him, Samantha Ann Squeaks and Olivia Kathleen Oldenburg; grandfather, George Doemel of Jackson, MO; aunts and uncle, Diane (Vince) Diebold of Jackson, MO, Denise (Rich) Siebert and Laura (Henry) Bishop, both of Cape Girardeau, MO, Chris Doemel, of Atlanta, GA, Terri (Randy) Fluegge and Julene (Tom) Tojo, both of St. Louis, MO; cousins, Jessie Pool, Elizabeth (Dan) Gantner, Curt and Sydney Doemel, Jordan and Jenna Tojo, Michael (Shu), Travis (Laura), Amanda, Mindy, Joe, Annie and Tom Siebert, Shelby and Rebecca Ray; and special friend, Katie Kat Curran. Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Samantha Elizabeth Doemel; grandmother, Shirley Doemel; grandparents, Dennis and Mary Ann Lottes. There are so many more special people that Scott loved, and who loved Scott, there is not enough room to name them all. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (today), June 18th with Vigil Prayers at 7:00 p.m. in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
