Donald R. Webb Obituary
WEBB Donald R. Webb of Welaka, Florida passed away peacefully Sunday, June 29, 2014 at the age of 71. Born in Madison County, Florida, Donnie grew up in the Arlington area, co-owning and operating the family business for over 30 years, M & W Amoco Service. He graduated from Terry Parker High School, Class of 1961. Upon retirement he and his late wife, Linda moved to Welaka, Florida where they enjoyed spending time at their home on the St. Johns River. Their door was always open to family, friends & neighbors who knew they would be greeted by laughter, warmth and homemade food. His favorite hobbies in life were cars, boats and motorcycles. Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Nonie Webb and his wife of 27 years, Linda. Donnie is survived by his children, Tera Webb of Mansfield, Georgia, Billy Hohmann (wife Tricia) of St. Augustine, FL, Kelli Webb of Mansfield, Georgia and Christie LaGrange (husband Dan) of Deltona, Florida; 2 brothers, Thomas E. Webb (wife Cindy) of Welaka, Florida and Glenn Brown (wife Sharon) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Heather Clark, Jonathan Hicken, Haley Miller, Taylor Hohmann, Carson LaGrange and Katie Hohmann; one great grandson, Camden Stimpfle and his faithful dog, Buster. He will be missed greatly by his close group of friends and his extended family. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3rd at First Presbyterian Church, 118 E. Monroe Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202 with interment immediately following at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road. Friends and Family will also be received at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Boulevard, Jacksonville, 32211; Wednesday (TODAY) July 2nd from 6-8 pm.
