James Audi Bajalia Obituary
BAJALIA James Audi Bajalia ( Jimmy ), 53, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, nephew and friend passed away on Monday August 25, 2014. He was a lifelong resident and native of Jacksonville. Jimmy graduated from Bishop Kenny High School, class of 1979. He earned dual B.S. degrees in Political Science and International Affairs from Florida State University in 1984 and was a Sigma Phi Epsilon. Jimmy was active member of the Ramallah American Club of Jacksonville and national causes promoting lasting peace in the Middle East. Shortly after graduating from FSU, Jimmy co-founded and operated a successful national ophthalmic distribution company for many years until it was sold. Jimmy operated several other businesses over the years and most recently the owner of No Boundaries Process Services in Jacksonville. Jimmy was well versed in international affairs, especially with the issues involving the Middle East and had been active in many U.S. State Department events over the years supporting this cause. His love for his family and quick wit are what we will miss most about Jimmy. Jimmy is survived by his devoted and loving wife of nearly 19 years, Linda Bateh Bajalia; his children, James Audi II, Kennar Lisa, and Laith James; his parents, Audi George Bajalia ( Ed ) and Huda Akel Bajalia ( Anne ); his sisters, Cathy Golon and Linda Hassan (Joe); his brother, George Bajalia (Diane), all of Jacksonville; his mother- in- law, Mary Issa Bateh (the late Issa); his sister-in-law, Ann Farmand (Terry); his brother-in-laws Abraham Bateh (Renee) and Michael Bateh (Susie), all of Jacksonville, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, all of whom love him and will miss him dearly. Family will receive friends at Assumption Catholic Church, 2403 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday August 28, 2014 with a Vigil service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday August 29, 2014 at Assumption with Father Fred Parke and Rev. John Reynolds officiating.
