Obituary Condolences

MAYHUGH Maureen Crawford Mayhugh, 61, of 1552 Mayhugh Road, Chester, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at Uriel Presbyterian Church with Rev. Fred Powell. Mrs. Mayhugh was born in Port Glasgow, Scotland UK, a daughter of the late Andrew and Charlotte Crawford. She was the treasurer of the Chester Garden Club, a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Chester County Volunteer of the Year for the American Red Cross in 2006. She was a member of Uriel Presbyterian Church where she was the church historian. Surviving in addition to her husband James “Jim” Mayhugh are two daughters, Kendra Crawford Zajac and her husband Timothy of Rock Hill and Charlotte Ann Mayhugh of Chester; three sisters, Ellen Crawford of Newport News, Virginia and Rosaline Morris and Catherine Mungin of Port Glasgow, Scotland and one brother, James Crawford of the Canary Islands. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the residence, 1552 Mayhugh Road, Chester. Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street, Chester is in charge of arrangements.
