Obituary Condolences

HATCH Mabry Dewault Hatch, Sr., 88, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Friday surrounded by his loving family. Born March 18, 1920 in Lafayette County where he lived in Hatch Bend, Florida until leaving to proudly serve in the 38th Coast Artillery Battalion of the United States Army. He was a member of the IBEW for over 65 years, worked with Paxson Electric from 1957 until 1985 until retirement and was a member of the San Pablo Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Mabry Dewault (Vicki) Hatch, Jr.; daughters, Elizabeth (Libby) Hatch and Cynthia (Brian) Norris; brothers, Leslie (Ozelle) Hatch and Herbert Hatch; sister, Hazel (Marshal) Carlton; granddaughters, Melissa (John) Muka and Heather (Travis) Bourne; great grandson, Ethan Bourne; great granddaughter, Addison Muka; many nieces and nephews and beloved friends at Cypress Village. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 P.M., today at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday at the Hardage-Giddens chapel followed by a celebration gathering. Interment will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at Arlington Memorial Park. Our special thanks to Hospice of N.E. Florida, for their Care and Compassion in our time of need.
