Obituary Condolences

WARNER On Tuesday, June 2, 2009, Mrs. Terry Warner was surrounded by her family and friends when she left us to join her mother, Betty Ferrone, and Our Heavenly Father. Terry was born in Bluefield, WV on January 18, 1952, her family then relocated to Melbourne, FL where she resided for 20 years, and she has since made Jacksonville her home. Terry received her Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of North Florida. She has been a loving and dedicated teacher at Brookview Elementary School for 35 years. Being there she was able to touch the lives and the hearts of the children as well as her fellow teachers and staff. She will be truly missed as a part of their school family. Terry leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 32 beautiful years, Terry Warner, who was an amazing care giver during the past two months of her life as her health began to fail; her daughter, Tiffany Collins and her husband James “Buster”; son, Joey Warner; and her precious granddaughter, Eaden, who calls her “Mia”. She filled their lives with her love and devotion and those memories will help during the difficult times ahead. She also leaves her father, Gene Ferrone, who was her mentor and anchor; sister Candee Russell and her husband Kevin; nephews, Kristopher and Kalen; niece, Kortnei, aunt, Helen Aliff, and many friends whose lives were touched and made better by her. Terry had a passion to read and loved to shop. She had a special talent and gift in writing. Her priority was to put others first and to make those around her happy. A memorial service will be held, Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Caroline Baptist Church, which she was a member for many years, 11428 McCormick Road, Jacksonville, Florida. A reception and fellowship will follow immediately. With special appreciation, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32257 or at www.community hospice.com, which made each day better. Terry was able to shine her light in the world and will be greatly missed in the lives of those who knew and loved her. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
