It has been a month and I still find it hard to believe. Aunt Janet was so special to me. I remember as a child writing her letters, putting lipstick on, then kissing the letter, so she could always get a kiss from me. I always remember how she was here for us when we lost Darrell. Uncle Luke you sacrificed so she could help us and we thank you for this. I also enjoyed our phone conversations, she could be so funny and then we would get serious. The last few times I called, she would answer acting like an answering machine, then hang up and call me back, just to save me some money. Aunt Janet was one of a kind and I Loved Her. Uncle Luke, Woody and Kim, I love you and may God keep you in the palm of His hand and wrap His arms of peace around you. Love Vicki

Life without Janet is going to be hard. She was a wonderful sister to me. We had lots of fun growing up and still did after we were old & gray headed. She was the "Dolly" & I was "Grandma". Luke, I will pray for you and the rest of the family, that God will guide you. Hold your hand & comfort you. Goodbye "My Sweet Janet" -
I LOVE YOU

I still can't believe that Aunt Janet is not here anymore. I enjoyed my talks with her, the cards, and e-mails. I love her so much and already miss her. I feel honored that so many people tell me I am like her because that is the best compliment I could receive! I hate that we didn't get to see each other very often but I know that we always missed each other and loved each other. Luke and family it was wonderful spending the past few days with you even in bad circumstances. I know that Aunt Janet will be looking over us. I love all of you very much. I am always here if you need anything.

Love,
Tara Mosley

Dear Luke & family,
We were so saddened to hear of Janet's sudden passing. Janet was about three years older than me and I loved her very much. She was so much fun when we were kids, playing in the yard in Kellyville, Oklahoma. Some of my best childhood memories include time that I was able to spend with Janet. Although we weren't able to visit often after we moved to California and she moved to Florida, we were reminded of her precious love for family by her occasional notes and frequent emails. How we enjoyed her emails! Janet was an inspiration and reminder that even as we get older, move away, experience life, "the Anchor holds." She had a genuine faith and unashamed love for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I know that in our sadness and loss is glory and celebrating in Heaven.
God be with you all,
Darlene (Martin) Sandford

I'll miss all the e-mails, phone calls and occasional wine cooler's we shared together! I take comfort and knowing that now she's a guardian angel looking down on all of us! God Bless you and the family! Your second daughter forever - Donna

Kim and family,

I am so very sorry for your loss. It's been many years since I last saw your mom, but I thought about her often. I always thought of your parents as my "second parents" as a teenager, since I spent so much time at your house. My prayers go out to you, your dad, your brother and the rest of your family.

God bless.
