KLINGENSMITH There is a new star in the heavens and it belongs to Lucille Rowe Klingensmith who departed this life on April 14, 2010. She was born June 8, 1922 in Macclenny, FL to John and Minnie Rowe. Lucille was the epitome of a southern lady known for her beautiful shock of white hair. She loved to cook, play bridge, dance, her antiques and hosting family gatherings. Her smile could light up a room and her kindness and strength were overwhelming. We have truly lost a beautiful lady who will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Jimmie, and Harry, husbands John Webb and Sam Klingensmith and her beloved Harold Finley. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Linda Jones of Jacksonville and Nancy Snethen (Joe) of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, sister, Marjorie Sharp, Macclenny and brother Cecil Rowe of Nashville, TN and many friends and relatives to include her devoted friend, Barbara Dacundo. The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, FL. A celebration of her life will begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel at the funeral home on Sunday, April 18. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Macclenny. Please Sign the Guestbook @
