Agnes Clair Obituary

CLAIR Agnes Marie Clair passed away Sunday morning, June 27, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born October 2, 1923 in Bronx, N.Y. She married, John "Jack" Clair in 1948, and moved from NY to St. Petersburg, FL in 1951. Agnes was a devoted wife and mother who had a full time career caring for her family. She was an artist who enjoyed painting landscapes which were hung throughout her home. She enjoyed travelling and was a great cook. After the passing of her husband of 54 years, in 2002, she moved to Jacksonville, FL. She is survived by her son Stephen Clair of Chicago, her daughter Joyce Wissman of Jacksonville; her grandchildren Susan Honea, Michelle Dewberry, Jaime Caroti, Nancy Devore, Shane Wissman, and Chase Wissman; and her great grandchildren, Brittney, Katlyn, Meagan, Collin, Chloe, and her faithful canine companion, Maggie. She is missed by all of us but we find peace knowing that she will join her husband again. A Memorial Mass will be held at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church on Tuesday, 7/6/10 at 11:00am.
