Norvel Winston Truluck Obituary
TRULUCK Norvel Winston Truluck, of Middleburg, FL, age 76, passed away on November 20, 2010 at home after a brief battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Marvin E. Truluck. With the loving help of N.E. Florida Hospice he gained his final wish to end his battle with cancer at home surrounded by those who loved him dearly. He was born in O'Brien, Florida and graduated from Branford High School. After graduating High School, he attended the University of Tampa and played football and baseball. He served his country in the U.S. Army, stationed in Hawaii where he received several honors. Norvel was a truck driver for 30 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local # 512. He was a Christian and loved the Lord. Norvel was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Middleburg, FL. Mr. Truluck is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Delores Diana Truluck; daughter, Myra Truluck Wood (William); son, Douglas W. Truluck; grandchildren, Madison, Zackary, Mahaney and Joshua Truluck. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, (TODAY) from 5PM to 7 PM at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, November 24, 2010 in the chapel at JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Delton Kilpatrick officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly make donations in Mr. Truluck's memory to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL 32257. We would like to thank hospice for all their love and support.
