ADKINS Junior Wade Adkins, 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2011. He was born May 30, 1936 in Banks, Alabama to the late John & Anna Brown Adkins. Junior was a member of Calvary Temple Church of God and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara; sons, Harold Joyner (Kathy) and Clay Joyner (Shawn) both of Newberry, SC; daughter, Tina Champion (Mitchell) of Jacksonville; brother, Wayne Adkins; sisters, Mary, Ann, Eva, Sandra and Kathy; grandchildren, Clay, David, Matthew and Misty; numerous other family & friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 14 at 11am in the chapel of Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, with Pastor Bob Mullaly officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. 714-1110.
