MILLER Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Tammy was born in Jacksonville, Florida, October 9, 1962. At 14 years old she volunteered at St. Vincent s hospital as a Candy-Striper . After graduating from Robert E. Lee School, Tammy attended Florida State College at Jacksonville and later went on to be a Respiratory Therapist. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Shand s Hospital before moving to Albany, Georgia where she worked at Phoebe Putney Medical Center. Through a friend she met the love of her life Michael Miller or as she called him My Michael . Tammy and Michael were married for 8 years when God blessed them with her greatest joy in life, her son, Cameron. For the past 4 years she had what she cherished the most being called Mommy . Tammy always greeted you with a smile and happiness. Tammy was a wife, a Mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece, a cousin and a friend. She was all of these and much more. She will be missed by her family and especially her husband, son, parents, her sister Robin and all of her many friends. Tammy is with the Lord now and we know we will see her again. She is survived by: her husband, Michael Ray Miller, of Douglas, GA; son, Cameron Michael Miller, of Douglas, GA; her mother, Jean Yvonne Jordan Eason, and step-father, Gordon Lee Eason, both of Jacksonville, FL; her father, Gerald Henry Taylor and step-mother, Sharon Sue Taylor, both of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Robin Renee Halifko and brother-in-law, Christopher Steven Halifko, both of Jacksonville, FL; step-sister, Beth Ann Trapani and step brother-in-law, Todd Trapani, both of Jacksonville, FL; father-in-law, Roscoe Jeremiah Miller and mother-in-law, Lenora Miller, both of Douglas, GA; brother-in-law, Jeremy Warren Miller and sister-in-law, Amber Miller, both of Douglas, GA; nephews, Rhyan Regulacion, Mathew Halifko, Zachary Halifko, Zack Trapani, Christian Trapani, Logan Miller, and Tyler Miller; niece, Dawn Eason, great-niece, Kora Regulacion and her mother Kathy Garcia; aunts and uncles, Betty Ward, Janice Howard, Joyce and Jim Rowe, Jo and Paul Kurtock . Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Carver Baptist Church near Douglas, GA with Rev. Phillip Corbean and Rev. Marty Wilkes officiating. Interment followed at Carver Baptist Church Cemetery. Music was furnished for the service by Rev. Stephen and Christy Wells with CD backup I Can Only Imagine , It Is Well With My Soul and With Hope . Active Pallbearers were: Zachary Halifko, Rhyan Regulacion, Michael Rowe, Dwain Stevens, Ricky Stevens, Juan Delgardo, Joel Stevens, and Zachary Bowen. Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
