Larry Stokes Obituary
STOKES Larry Johnny Stokes, Sr., 63, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2012. He was born August 7, 1948 in Macon, GA to the late Harry & Lillian (Smith) Stokes, Sr. Larry was a member of First Baptist Church of Oceanway, loved Nascar and the Georgia football team. He was a very kind and loving person and will be dearly missed by all. Larry is survived by his fianc , Miriam Chris Tyre; son, Larry Jr. (Faith) of Bryceville; daughters, Stephanie Miller (Tony), Katina Stokes, both of Jacksonville; brother, Harry Stokes, Jr. (Dana) of Bartlett, TN; sisters, Shirley Ard (Boyd), Lynnette Rackley (Jim), all of Jacksonville, Ann Ward (Jimmy) of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Hayley, David, Lacey, Tristan; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 11am at First Baptist Church of Oceanway, 212 Sago Ave Jax, FL 32218, with Pastor Micah Strickland officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday night (TODAY) at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Rd Jax, FL 32218, 714-1110.
