LARRY INGRAM Obituary
INGRAM Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com Larry E. Ingram, Sr. died at home unexpectedly on Sunday, March 3, 2013. He was born on October 28, 1943 in Gainesville, FL and moved to Jacksonville during the early 1960s. Larry spent a long and fulfilling career in the foodservice industry, beginning with Dave Rowan Frozen Foods and culminating with 25 years at Sysco Food Service-Jax. He was an outdoorsman at heart and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. He served as a church Elder with Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church, active in both the Christian Education Department and Buildings and Grounds. He was a soccer coach for the Arlington Youth Soccer Club for several years and an officer with the Y-Indian Guides. Larry was a beloved son, husband and father. His greatest pleasures in life were being a grandfather to his six grandchildren and an avid Florida Gators football fan. He was blessed and privileged to have the love and support of a host of extended family members, his church family and countless friends. Larry was predeceased by his father, Harry Ingram and daughters Lindsay Lee Ingram and Ruth Ann Wynne. Leaving to mourn his loss are his devoted wife of 45 years, Beverly Ingram; sons, Larry Ingram, Jr. (Cindy) and Rusty Ingram (Julie); his mother, Pearl Ingram, brother, Gordon Ingram, mother-in-law, Flo Rowan and grandchildren Caleb, Brock, Corbin, Sydney, Logan and Rebecca Ingram. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church located at 3754 University Club Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32277. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Ft. Caroline Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211.
