Obituary Condolences

RAULERSON William Everett (Bill) Raulerson, 86 passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Vincent s Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida, following a short illness. Bill was born in Waldo, Florida, the youngest child of the late Hardee and Anna Belle Raulerson. He grew up in the Gainesville/ Waldo area, graduated from Gainesville High School, and attended the University of Florida. Returning to North Florida after serving in the Navy during World War II, Bill began his 38 year railroad career with the Seaboard Coast Line. After retiring in 1989, Bill enjoyed the company of friends and family. He was a member of the Gateway Rifle and Pistol Club, an avid golfer, reader and family historian. Bill is predeceased by his parents, his brothers Hardee and Gilbert, sister Thelma and beloved wife Delores. He is survived by his sister Mary R. Couch of Gainesville, nephews Raymond Couch (Mary) of Sarasota, Henry Couch (Debbie) of Gainesville, Robert Raulerson (Peggy) of Branford, Donald Shirey (Glenda) of Jacksonville; cousin Sylvia (Keith) Lunsford of Jacksonville; step-daughter Linda Seiler (Harry) of Jacksonville; numerous great-nieces and nephews, and two step-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 2:00 PM.
