Obituary Condolences

CASHION Anne Morgan Cashion, 97, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was born in Effingham County, GA to Anne and Emmett Morgan. She was a graduate of Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Ga. and did graduate work at FSU, Jacksonville University, and University of Florida. Mrs. Cashion was a teacher of English and History for 32 years at Woodbine, Ga., Callahan, Fla., and Jackson and Terry Parker High Schools in Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Cashion, Sr. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Clauss, of Rustburg Va., and a son, John L. Cashion, Jr. (Babs), Fleming Island; grandchildren Jill Mitchell (Mark), Zac Cashion, Morgan Holt (Chris) Bradford Clauss (Loree), step granddaughter, Jeaneen Clauss; great-grandchildren, Gunnar Mitchell, Cashion Holt, Ann-Margaret Holt, and twins, Elizabeth and Joshua Pietz. She was a long-time member of St. Matthew s Lutheran Church where she was active in all phases of church life, from Sunday school to Church Council including many years as a member of the chancel choir and the altar guild. A memorial service will be held at St Matthew s Lutheran Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 27. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew s Lutheran Church.
