Obituary Condolences

TEAGUE Allie R Teague, 102, passed away on Saturday, April 27th in Jacksonville. Mrs. Teague was born July 10, 1910 in Quincy, FL. My Mother was the sweetest thing that God had ever given this world and was loved so much by her Husband, my Father, Henry Newt Teague that had gone before 20 years earlier. Dad let me have her for all these years and now she is with him forever where they wait for me. God gave me two of the Greatest Parents that anyone could have ever had and I know that He planned this from beginning. Thank You Lord for my Mother and Father. Mother was an amazing lady right up to the weeks before she passed in that she had planned for all most four years to watch her Great-Granddaughter Jennifer graduate from Florida State University. Mother had preceded Jennifer by eighty years by graduating from Florida State College for Women in 1933. She was so proud of Jennifer for following in her foot steps and had wanted so much to see her graduate but she will still be there to see it I know just with a much better seat. She was preceded into Heaven by all most her entire family in life and she is now with them where they rejoice with her and the Lord. Left behind with the joy of remembering her is myself Richard (son), my wife Ann, Granddaughter Joann with her husband John and Grandson Tommy along with Great Granddaughters Jennifer and Nova. She was known by so many friends and fellow church members of Hendricks Avenue Baptist Church where she had attended for many decades until unable to attend but was all ways remembered by the church. A school teacher for more than twenty years, wife of a City of Jacksonville police officer for fifty four years and my Mother for sixty three years. She loved music, art and her paintings which are truly her legacy to me and to any that has seen them. Mom will be laid next to Dad on April 30th 2013 at Oaklawn Cemetery with a graveside service at eleven (today), Pastor Kyle Reese officiating. You are and will be missed by us all Mama.
