LIVINGSTON Robert Blane Livingston, Sr., age 46 passed away July 2nd, 2013. Native of Jacksonville, Florida Blane moved to Bulloch County in 2001. He attended Liberty University and Georgia Southern University. As President of Livingston Salon Services, Inc. he made a life focused on helping people discover their radiant beauty. He saw the best in everyone and enjoyed helping each client look and feel their very best. Blane was a true athlete. Graduating from Trinity Christian Academy in '85, he lettered in baseball, basketball and was an all-conference wide receiver in Football. He was voted Most Athletic in his senior year. Most recently he received tremendous pleasure in coaching his son's basketball team. He was an asset to the Downtown Statesboro business community and was strongly committed to its continued growth and viability. Always eager to lend a helping hand, encourage and inspire his fellow downtown businesses. He was detail oriented and a perfectionist who demanded and expected the best in everyone and everything he touched. Blane was blessed with tremendous business and personal success. In addition to his strong business acumen, Blane was a gifted musician and had a true love of music. He was a talented pianist and developed that talent over the last five years. He was a fanatic Florida Gator fan. Blane was a member of the Statesboro First United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death, his son Robert Livingston, Jr. Surviving are his father and mother Jim and Jean Livingston, Statesboro, GA; his wife Amanda, his children Nicholas, Ava, and Noah. Two brothers Blair (Angie) and Ashley (Rebecca) Livingston; sister Brittany Livingston. The visitation will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 3:00 located at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Jimmy Cason officiating. Graveside services and burial will be Monday at 3:00pm at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, 800 Hammond Blvd. Jacksonville, Fl. with Rev. Tom Messer officiating. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Bible Baptist Church Christian Academy, 889 Ga. Hwy 24, Statesboro, Ga. 30461.
