Obituary Condolences

POPE Charles Clay Pope, resident of St Augustine, Florida passed away peacefully on June 26. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; three daughters, Rebecca Hart, Lisa Ayala, and Ray-a-nay Dacus; three grandchildren, Brian, Dustin, and Zoe, and his loyal four-legged companion, Juanita Bebe. Charles, born in Missouri on Christmas Day in 1929, was career Navy, and served his country proudly; equally during times of war and times of peace. He was loved by many and will be remembered for his stories of travelling the world and the great love he had for his family and friends. His family wishes to express their gratitude to the many competent and kind physicians, healthcare professionals, and caregivers who provided him with care and comfort during his last years. He will be missed, but will be remembered with joy. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, July 25, 2013 at Craig Memorial Park in St. Augustine, Florida. Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
