Obituary Condolences

JOYNER Christopher Joyner Sr., 64, of Mayo, FL, passed away on July 31, 2013. A Florida native, he was born in Jacksonville, the son of Henry Joyner Jr. and Margarette Lula Joyner. He mastered the central heat and air trade and enjoyed a life-long career as a General Contractor licensed in the State of Florida. He was a well-respected business owner of Shamrock Heating & Air, with locations in West Palm Beach and Mayo, FL, along with Subs & More also located in Mayo. Yet, if you asked him today, he's sure to say, That's your business! His passions were many; collecting coins, guns, baseball memorabilia and antique cars. Yet, there was nothing quite as dear to his heart as gardening and nurturing his plants. He loved classic westerns, country music, was a member of the NRA and an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his children: Christy Joyner Harris of Jacksonville, Lindy Joyner-Kennedy of Middleburg, Christopher Joyner Jr. (Jessica) and Joshua Joyner both of Mayo, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, four brothers, Steve (Lealia), Randy (Jan), Carson, Marcus Joyner of Jacksonville and other family and friends. The greatest gift we ever had, came from GOD, and we call him Dad! Memorial Services will be held at Eternity Funeral Home, on Friday, August 9th, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., 4856 Oakdale Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. A gathering to honor Mr. Joyner will follow at Lindy Joyner-Kennedy s residence. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com
