ATTANASIO ISOLDA Obituary
ISOLDA Attanasio Allen Isolda, 87, passed away today, August 16, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 7, 1926, in New Castle, PA., to the late Attanasio and Jennie Isolda. He graduated from New Castle High School in New Castle, PA. Then later attended a vocational school for Carpentry. Allen proudly served our country in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Allen was a proud business owner from any early age, his first business was a Dairy Queen, then later he partnered with his brother James in the Isolda Construction Company. Both businesses were in New Castle, PA. When Allen and family moved to Jacksonville, FL in the early 1970's, he became Superintendent for The Demetree Brothers and he held that position for approximately 30 years. He was a loyal employee to say the least. Allen was a family man, and although he loved fishing and hunting, as well as a good golf game, he enjoyed spending time with his family the most. He enjoyed country music and old westerns, and he really loved to dance. Allen is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Julie Razzano Isolda; eldest daughter Patti Moses and son-in-law Jimi Moses; son Alan and daughter-in-law Michelle; daughter Ree Theofan and son-in-law Paul Theofan; grandchildren, David Moses, Aimee Moses, Kelly Isolda, Arianna Theofan, and Dominic Theofan; and great grandchildren, Madison Jones, Gabriella Moses, David Moses, Isabella Moses, and Ezra James Moses. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 22nd, in the Holy Family Catholic Church with Reverend Tim Cusick as Celebrant. Private interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date. Please visit our online Tribute at www.quinn-shalz.com.
