WOODRUFF Willie H. Woody Woodruff, Jr., 66 of Callahan, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 4, 2013. Mr. Woodruff was born on November 25, 1946 in Greenville, Alabama. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School in 1966, he joined the U.S. Navy and made 2 tours to Vietnam aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Ticonderoga CVS-14. He retired from JEA in 2011 with 32 years of service. He is predeceased by his father and mother, Willie H. Woodruff, Sr. and Sybil H. Woodruff. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Zelda L. Woodruff; his children: Angela (Randy) Lucero, Howard (Jammie) Woodruff, Shannon Williams and Jamie (Cindy) Williams; 2 sisters, Ann Head and Margie King; 2 brothers, Bobby and Jimmie Woodruff; 10 grandchildren: Renee, Randy Jr., Taylor, Sophia, Marcus, Moses, Grace, Kaylee, Jay and Levi; 1 great grandson, Silas; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 8, in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Rev. F. Ray Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday (TODAY) at the funeral home.
