My dad was an outstanding man. I keep thinking to myself I can't do this without him but I know he's in my heart. And every achievement I achieve will be because of him and for him. He was my rock and my heart. He will be forever missed. He was a very hard worker we'd always tell him it was enough but he would continue because he was dedicated. He loved his family so much. I'm glad I knew my dad. We were super close and that's what makes it harder to let go. I love you dad forever and always.

Ed Marroletti was a friend, a man of faith and forgiveness. I knew him for many years and enjoyed so many memories together. A hard worker, intelligent beyond expectations and a true representative of how a father should love his children. He was an advocate of setting and achieving goals, and of making this life better for himself, his family and those who were lucky enough to know him. He will be missed very much!

To the family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. I had the pleasure of working with Ed while finding him a new position a few years back. He was such a great guy and always thanked me for helping him out. I am grateful to have spent some time with him recently and proud to call him a friend.

I didn't know the Marroletti family, but every evening on my way home from work I drove down CR217 and saw Ed working very hard on clearing his property. It just breaks my heart to know this has happened to a man so young and who worked so hard to get the property cleared. That Saturday afternoon when I saw the police and TV crews at the property this was the furthest thing from my mind. Even today, when I drive home down CR217 and pass the property I still look over to see if anyone is there. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. God bless each and every one of you for your loss.

Ed Marroletti was my great friend. We often spoke of how perfect the quote from Ned Devine was, so here goes.
The words that are spoken at a funeral are spoken too late for the man who is dead. What a wonderful thing it would be to visit your own funeral. To sit at the front and hear what was said, maybe say a few things yourself. Ed and I grew old together. But at times, when we laughed, we grew young. If he was here now, if he could hear what I say, I'd congratulate him on being a great man, and thank him for being a friend.

To the Marroletti family, we have fond memories of Ed from baseball days at Cedar Hills. A good father and a good man. Josh, you are in our prayers as well as your entire family.
