Dear Kathy and Family, Buford just told me about Robert's passing on. I am sending late condolences, but very heartfelt. Henry thought so highly of him.

Kathy, this is Ruth, Helen's daughter. I was going through pictures the other day and saw one of Bob and my mom that was so sweet. Showed it to Roy and from there Mary told us of Bob's passing. I am so sorry for you and your family. I have many fond memories of time spent together. Praying for you and your family

I'm so sorry for your loss, Kathy, and for your family's loss. Bob was a great guy! I will always remember the story he told about a passenger telling him he was going in the wrong direction, when he was only banking the plane (as I recall the story, anyway). He righted the plane as was always his intention and asked the flight attendant to thank the passenger! He was a real gentleman and always so pleasant to be around. I know my Mom really liked him and so did we all.

My thoughts echo what others have said here. Bob was a super individual, great pilot, and a joy to have gotten to know as a fellow pilot at NWA over the years. He will be missed, but remembered forever for the classy individual that he was, someone to really look up to.

Kathy,
I remember good times spent with you and Bob -- in the '60's!
What a GENTLEMAN was Bob! A man whom I am proud to have known as a friend...
Warm regards,
